It's Time to Lace Up

An asteroid is barreling toward the philanthropic sector.
That’s how a foundation leader recently described what social good organizations are up against.
In normal times, such a statement could be scoffed away as hyperbole.
But as we’ve come to learn over the last few months, we’re living in abnormal times.
The threats related to federal funding and policy are very real. And if even a fraction of them come to fruition, the result could be cataclysmic for foundations, nonprofits, and organizations that support the sector.
The pressing question now becomes: What’s your plan to fight back?
To take the analogy farther, when does it make sense to come out swinging and when is the more strategic move to bob-and-weave or revert to a defensive crouch as you assess the next best move.
Time for a new playbook
The answers to those questions will be hard to come by if you don’t have a plan in place that takes into account the new realities and gives you a solid framework to make faster and more meaningful decisions.
It’s time for a new playbook that puts you in control of your narrative and charts a clear path to fulfilling your mission.
The key elements of that playbook are captured in our just-off-the-press eBook, which highlights five key strategies to put the punch back into your communications.
The eBook offers a step-by-step approach to re-energize your communications, from nailing down your rapid response protocol to finding new ways to get your organization’s story amplified in the media and across nontraditional channels.
The fight for the future
Philanthropy has a long track record as a fierce fighter for those who often can’t fight for themselves.
The time is now to channel that energy, experience, and expertise to secure the future for our field – and the millions of people whose lives will be improved by our relentless dedication.
It’s time to lace up. And fight for what we believe in.
